About

Diomasleyly is a small, independent index of hotels. It covers four categories and eleven properties, and it is written to be read.

Why four categories

Most hotel lists sort by city or by price. This one sorts by kind. An art hotel, a capsule hotel, a casino hotel and an ice hotel each answer a different question about what a stay can be. Grouping them that way makes the differences easy to see.

What an entry contains

Each hotel gets a short piece of prose: where it is, what the building is like, and what sets it apart within its category. A few small labels sum up its main features. There are no scores, no star ratings and no reader reviews. We think a clear description does more work than a number.

What we don't do

We don't take bookings, and we don't sell rooms. Hotels cannot pay to be listed or to change what is written about them. When details at a property change, the description is updated, but the page will never be a substitute for checking directly with the hotel before you travel.

Who runs it

The index is maintained by a small editorial team with an interest in how buildings shape a stay. Questions and corrections are welcome through the contact page.
